Why We Built ReframeX
Videograph has spent five years building AI video infrastructure for some of the world’s largest broadcasters, OTT platforms, and media companies — including NDTV, TV9, TimesNow, and ManoramaMAX. Our technology processes millions of hours of live and on-demand video every year, powering everything from live streaming and video encoding to dynamic ad insertion and content analytics.
Over the past two years, we noticed a dramatic shift in how video content is consumed. Short-form vertical video — TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts — has become the dominant format for content discovery and audience growth. Our enterprise clients were asking us to help them convert their landscape broadcast content into vertical clips for social media. Creators and marketers were struggling with the same challenge: turning one long video into multiple platform-ready short clips.
We realized that the AI technology we had built for broadcast — scene detection, subject tracking, speech-to-text, and intelligent framing — was exactly what creators and content teams needed. So we built ReframeX.
